Privacy policy

Who we are and what this policy covers

gravity tech (“we”) develops Gravity, also listed as Horoscope Numerology Biorhythm, Android package com.gravitytech.compatibility. This policy explains how information is used in the app and on the Gravity website.

For privacy questions or requests about your information, email gravitylogy@gmail.com. You do not need to install the app or create an account to contact us.

Reading this policy or using the website does not by itself grant permission for optional analytics or device location. Those choices are made separately in the app.

Privacy at a glance

• Your profile is local. Names, birth dates and profile pictures are stored in the app’s private storage. Android backups and sharing actions can create separate copies.
• Analytics is your choice. Optional Firebase Analytics is off until you enable it. Remote configuration and other network features operate separately.
• Location is optional. Approximate location is used for Moon calculations. You can continue without it.
• The website calculator stays in your browser. It does not save or send your birth date.

This is a summary. The sections below explain the data flows and the limits of each control.

Profiles, calculations and photos

Gravity uses the first and last names, dates of birth, gender selections and optional photos you provide to display profiles and calculate numerology, compatibility and biorhythms. These details, local profile identifiers and copied avatar images are stored in the app’s private database and files. Gravity does not provide an online account or server-based profile sign-in.

Profile names, full birth dates, pictures and local profile IDs are not included in our custom analytics events. Some derived values, such as a zodiac sign or a calculated biorhythm value, may appear in diagnostic events when you enable analytics.

If you add someone else’s profile, make sure you have permission or another appropriate basis to use their information. If you choose “Share,” the selected content is passed to the app or recipient you choose. Their handling of that copy is separate from Gravity.

Android backup and device transfer may copy profile data and pictures according to your device settings. An existing backup is not necessarily removed when you clear local app data.

Location for Moon information

Gravity can use your approximate location through Google Play services to calculate Moon information on your device. Before requesting Android permission, the app explains this use and lets you continue without location. In that case, it uses a less accurate estimate based on your time zone.

Location access is requested while the Moon screen is open, not for background tracking. The app does not send these coordinates in its analytics events or to an address lookup service. Google Play services also processes information under Google’s own privacy terms.

You can withdraw permission in Android Settings → Apps → Gravity → Permissions → Location. The exact labels depend on your device.

Optional analytics

If you enable Allow optional analytics on the app’s Privacy Policy screen, Gravity uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand feature usage and identify problems. Data may include screen and feature interactions, diagnostic events, purchase events, an app-instance identifier, and device and app information. Google may derive an approximate region from the IP address used for the connection.

Analytics is disabled by default. Advertising ID collection and advertising personalization are disabled in the configuration covered by this policy.

You can turn analytics off on the same screen at any time. This stops subsequent optional analytics collection and resets local analytics data. It does not delete information already held by Google. Remote Config, Google Play purchases, feedback and online content continue to work separately.

Earlier app versions used Yandex AppMetrica. It is not included in the revised version covered here. Its removal does not mean historical records have been erased; requests about those records are reviewed as described below.

Network features and their recipients

These services receive information when the corresponding feature communicates with them:

• Firebase Remote Config and Firebase Installations — Google. An installation identifier and technical app/device information help deliver application settings. This processing is separate from optional Analytics and is not disabled by its switch.
• Purchases and subscriptions — Google Play. Google handles checkout. Gravity receives purchase status and purchase tokens to enable paid features and acknowledge transactions. Gravity does not ask for your bank-card details. Purchase events may also be processed by Analytics if enabled.
• Online horoscopes — aztro.sameerkumar.website and horoscope-api.herokuapp.com. Requests contain the zodiac sign and requested period, rather than your name or full birth date. As with other internet requests, the receiving service also receives connection information such as your IP address.

Information about Google’s services is available in the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy and security documentation. Provider terms do not replace our responsibility to explain Gravity’s own use of information.

When you contact us

Email support is available at gravitylogy@gmail.com. Your sender address, message and attachments are processed to review and answer your inquiry; the email provider also processes this correspondence.

In the revised app, the feedback action opens your email app with the name, email address and message you entered. Review the draft and send it yourself to contact support; Gravity does not send the form to its backend. Earlier versions may attempt https://gravityapps.art/api/v1/mailer, which is currently unavailable for delivery. An unsuccessful attempt does not confirm receipt by support.

Send only the information needed for your question. Do not include passwords, bank-card details, purchase tokens, identity documents or unrelated information about others. Hide private profile details in screenshots unless needed for the inquiry.

Information used by this website

The life-path calculator processes your birth date in your browser; it does not save it or send it to us. The website remembers your selected language in local browser storage. You can remove that preference by clearing the site’s data in your browser. There is no website analytics or advertising SDK on these pages.

The landing page loads fonts from Google Fonts. These requests expose ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, to Google. The privacy, data-deletion and support pages use system fonts.

The web host receives the technical information needed to deliver pages, including IP address, requested URL and browser information. Technical access and error logs are retained for up to 30 days; see the retention section.

Mail links open your email app. They do not send a message or delete data automatically. If you follow a link to another service, such as Google Play, that service’s own privacy information applies.

How long information remains and how to remove it

Local profiles and files. They remain until deleted or app storage is cleared. Removing a friend profile deletes its database entry but may leave its copied avatar. To remove all local profiles, files and preferences, use Android Settings → Apps → Gravity → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data.

Support correspondence. We keep inquiries and email copies while handling the issue and for 90 days after it is closed, then remove them manually from the support mailbox and our working copies. You may request earlier deletion. If a legal obligation or a specific dispute requires longer retention, we will explain the reason and applicable period in our response.

Website logs. Technical access and error logs are retained for up to 30 days for operation, fault diagnosis and security. Server backup copies may retain removed server data for up to an additional 14 days before their scheduled expiry; they are not used for ordinary support work.

Provider records. Google Analytics, Firebase Installations, Google Play, email and other providers have their own controls, retention settings and policies. This policy does not set or certify a particular Firebase Analytics property retention setting. We review requests using available identifiers and the relevant provider tools, and explain what can be located or removed. Removing AppMetrica from the revised app does not establish deletion of historical AppMetrica records.

Browser storage, backups and shared copies. The website language preference remains until changed or browser storage is cleared; the calculator does not retain your birth date. Android backups and device transfers may include profiles and pictures; analytics consent preferences are excluded from app backup rules. Clearing app data does not erase existing Android backups, recipients’ copies, past analytics or Google billing records. These copies are subject to the corresponding service controls.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can edit local profiles, clear local data, decline location access, switch optional analytics off and remove the website’s stored language preference. You can use these controls without sending us a request.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to access or correct information, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to a competent data-protection authority. The availability and scope of these rights depend on the processing concerned. Withdrawal of consent does not retrospectively change the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it was withdrawn.

For a question or request, email gravitylogy@gmail.com with the subject “Gravity privacy request.” Explain what information or activity your request concerns. For support correspondence, use the email address from the original exchange and give an approximate date or subject if possible. You do not need to reinstall Gravity or cancel a subscription to contact us.

We review privacy requests manually and respond within 30 days of receipt, or sooner if applicable law requires. For correspondence, we normally verify the request through the original sender address and the message date or subject. If more information is needed to identify a record or verify your authority, we explain what is necessary. An email address alone may not identify a Firebase installation. Our response explains actions taken, any records we cannot locate, and any justified retention or provider limitations. Do not send passwords or identity documents with your initial request.

Protection, service providers and processing locations

Configured app API addresses use HTTPS and local files use Android’s private app storage. The website may currently be accessed over HTTP; such a connection is not encrypted. These pages do not contain a web form for submitting personal information. Use the email contact for requests rather than including personal information in a website URL. No system guarantees absolute security.

Recipients are described with each purpose above: Google/Firebase/Google Play, horoscope services, email services, the web host, Android backup services and recipients you select for sharing. Some providers may process information outside your country. Google explains its processing and transfer arrangements in its privacy policy. Contact us about a specific transfer or request; we do not claim that publication of this policy establishes a particular certification or safeguard.

Changes and questions

The date at the top identifies this document’s revision. This policy should be read together with the choices and explanations shown in the app. A change to this text is not, by itself, your consent to a new optional use of data.
