Contact about data deletion

For a request concerning feedback, email correspondence or other remote data, contact the developer:
Compose a deletion requestYou can write without installing the app. Identify the records concerned and, for support correspondence, use the email address you originally contacted us from and an approximate date or subject. Do not include passwords, payment-card details or other people’s full profiles.
The button opens your mail application. Nothing is sent until you send the email yourself; it does not trigger automatic deletion. We review requests manually and respond within 30 days, or sooner where applicable law requires.
Local profiles are not online accounts
The reviewed Gravity app does not create an online service account. Your personal and friend profiles are local entries on your device. There is no Gravity server login to close. Your Google account used for purchases is separate and is not deleted by removing Gravity data.
Remove local data
- To remove an individual friend profile, open Friends, open that profile’s menu, and select Delete.
- For all local profiles, copied avatar files and settings, open Android Settings → Apps → Gravity → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data. Wording varies by device. This resets the app and removes the data currently in its private storage.
- Review Android backup and device-transfer settings separately. Clearing the app’s storage does not establish deletion of an existing backup or a copy you shared with another app.
Deleting one friend record may leave its copied avatar file; use full storage clearing when you want the complete local dataset removed. Neither action deletes messages or records already held by remote providers.
Change analytics and location choices
On the app’s Privacy Policy screen, turn off Allow optional analytics. This stops future optional collection and resets local analytics data. Previously sent Google Analytics data is not erased by that switch.
To withdraw device location permission, open Android’s app permissions for Gravity and disable location. The Moon feature can use a less accurate time-zone estimate. Remote Config and purchases work separately from the analytics switch.
Remote records and retention
We review requests manually, using the original sender address and message date or subject to locate support correspondence. We may ask for the minimum additional details needed to verify a request or locate other records. An email address alone may not identify Firebase installation records.
We respond within 30 days of receipt, or sooner where applicable law requires, explaining the action taken, records that cannot be identified and any justified retention or provider limitations. The email link does not perform automatic deletion.
Support messages and our email copies are kept until the issue is closed and for 90 days afterwards, unless earlier deletion is requested or a justified legal obligation or dispute requires retention. Website technical logs are retained up to 30 days. Server backups may retain removed server data for up to an additional 14 days. Provider records follow the applicable provider controls and policies; local reset does not delete historical Analytics, AppMetrica or Google billing records.
See the privacy policy’s retention section for details and separate Android backup controls.
Subscriptions are separate
Clearing data or uninstalling Gravity does not cancel a Google Play subscription. You do not need to cancel a subscription merely to contact us about data.
To stop renewal, use Google Play subscriptions while signed in to the purchasing Google account. Google explains the steps in its subscription help. Google manages its own billing records under its policies.
